Our Parish Outreach program, located in the Father Schaefer Outreach Building (75 Post Ave., Westbury) provides a range of social services for people of the local community. Joan Echausse, director of Parish Outreach, is assisted by coordinators Lupe Ramirez, Barbara Powell, Ximena Aravena, and Yanira Chacon-Lopez.
St. Brigid's Attic Thrift Shop was founded more than 20 years ago with two purposes in mind:
1) To provide a variety of clothing and other items at a very low cost to all those who are in need.
2) To generate income that helps offset the parish subsidy to our extensive Outreach Program.
Currently, St. Brigid's Attic is served by more than 35 volunteers under the direction of Millie Lopez, Coordinator.
The Attic relies on our generous parishioners for the clothing and goods it sells.
It is open from Monday to Saturday every week from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.
If you are interested in donating to The Attic, stop by during store hours (178 Post Ave, rear entrance).
Or, if you want to become a Volunteer, please contact Millie Lopez at (516) 455-3556
